Key elements of the proposals :
- Provision of 330 homes consisting of a range of house types and sizes, including provision of affordable housing compliant with the emerging policy in the North Norfolk Local Plan 2016-2036. Additionally, there will be the provision of smaller starter homes as well as an elderly care accommodation within the site.
- Retain and enhance existing Public Rights of Way including accessibility to Paston Way, and provide additional pedestrian routes throughout the site, connecting the built up area of North Walsham with the countryside through safe pedestrian and cycle linkages.
- Open private land to the community through the creation of high-quality open space, which is connected, green, and provides areas of play for children. Furthermore, there will be the provision of allotments within the site for local residents to use.
